The Pontious Gallery, now open in Lombard, is currently showcasing the art of artist Frank deLoach. DeLoach, whose work focuses on Chicago icons, has been the Artist-on-Floor at the Field Museum of Natural History, and will offer art lessons at the gallery as well as playing the role of master artist.
The gallery's owner, Andrea Stevens, hopes to make art affordable for everyone; she is offering payment plans, and people can purchase pieces online or request private showings. Prices go up to $12,000. The gallery will even rent paintings, or the gallery itself, for special events. Visiting artists and students can also put their art on display.
